Putting together my latest holiday mix each year helps put me in the Christmas spirit, and it's been a lot of fun to learn as much as I have about the seasonal music scene. I'm indebted to the many holiday music enthusiasts who have shared their knowledge and expertise over the years via the internet. In November 2011, I started my own holiday music blog in order to share some of what I've learned over the past decade. The blog is called Bells Will Be Ringing, and it's also a useful way for me to share details about each year's release as well as general observatons about holiday music and seasonal ephemera.

 

I typically post new material each year beginning sometime in mid-November, and continue posting through the first week in January. The majority of my posts consist of background on each of the tracks from my latest holiday mix.
